His Excellency Mehmet Ali Şahin Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey expressed his full support to the PUIC efforts aimed at bringing together the views of Muslim States in order to face common challenges.
In his meeting with the PUIC Secretary General Professor Mahmud Erol KILIC, the Honorable Şahin emphasized the necessity of action to create rapprochement between Muslims Countries.
The PUIC Secretary General congratulated Mr. Şahin on his election to the most senior position in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and wished him success. He also expressed his thanks for the support extended by the Assembly to the Union. Mr. KILIC thanked the previous Speaker of the Assembly for his backing and support of the PUIC and expressed confidence that this support should continue under the guidance of Mr. Şahin.
