For more than three weeks, Pakistan has been witnessing devastating floods, which have so far caused dozens of deaths and injuries, in addition to huge material losses.

The Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States, H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, expresses his heartfelt condolences to the Parliament, Government and people of Pakistan and reaffirms solidarity with them in their ongoing tragedy.

He prays to Allah Almighty to shower the deceased with His mercy, expedite the recovery of the wounded, relieve Pakistan and its people from this calamity, and bestow upon them His blessings and grace.

The Secretary General also calls on Islamic countries to stand in solidarity with Pakistan under these critical circumstances.
