This aggression carried out by the USA comes in support of the Zionist aggression against Iran, which has been ongoing since 13 June.
The Secretary General of the PUIC, H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, strongly condemns the US aggression on the territory and sovereignty of the State of Iran, which is a serious violation of international law and the UN charter.
His Excellency further warns of the repercussions of these attacks on public health in Iran and the environment, calling for urgent measures and cooperation with neighbouring countries.
H.E. also warns that a new war in the region would mark a disaster for all and threaten peace and security in the entire world.
H.E. also calls on the Islamic Ummah to act in solidarity to defend itself against the forces of evil and tyranny that are targeting it, and adds that the United Nations must act to stop the escalation and hold the aggressors, namely Israel and the United States, responsible, as Iran has been exercising its legitimate right to develop a nuclear programme for peaceful purposes under the supervision and oversight of the International Atomic Energy Agency and in accordance with international protocols, including the Geneva Convention, which prohibits the targeting of nuclear facilities due to the risks of pollution and radiation.
The Secretary General also expresses full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran, its leadership, parliament and people, and offers his sincere condolences to the martyrs, praying to Allah to bestow His mercy on them and to expedite the recovery of the wounded as a result of the Israeli-American aggression.
