The Speaker of the Palestine National Council (PNC) Mr. Salim Al- Zaanoon said that the decision of the office of the International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor – General to request the introductory circuit on the Court to issue a decision on its regional competence in Palestine, is an important step towards prosecuting the war criminals in Israel as well as a victory for justice which is needed by our people.

In a press statement Mr. Zaanoon said that the decision confirms again the just nature of the issues referred by the Palestinian side to the ICC four years ago, and that it constitutes a new phase in pursuing the leaders of the Israeli occupation and the settlers who commit crimes under the eyes of the whole world.
