The 12th Afro-Arab Parliamentary Conference will take place in Abuja (Federal Republic of Nigeria) on the 22nd and 23rd of April 2009.
Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nigeria H.E. Dimeji Saburi and Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda and Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the African Parliamentary Union H.E. Edward Kiwanuka SSEKANDI have invited the PUIC Secretary General, H.E. Prof. Dr. Mahmud Erol KILIC, to participate in this 12th conference as an Observer.
The Conference which will deliberate on the socio-political situation in the world and its impact on Afro-Arab cooperation, will also discuss the impact of the current international economic crisis and means of protection to be implemented by the African and Arab Parliaments.
