The statement highlighted that these crimes come as a continuation of the violations committed by the occupying entity, which claimed the lives of more than two hundred journalists while carrying out their professional duty of reporting the facts and documenting the humanitarian tragedy suffered by the Palestinian people.

The AIPU also noted that these criminal practices constitute a clear attempt to suppress the truth and cover up the scale of the massacres and violations committed against civilians in the Gaza Strip, and expressed its deep regret over the silence of the international community and the insufficient condemnation stances that fall short of expectations and fail to reflect the gravity of the crimes committed.
