H.E. Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) , Prof. Mahmud Erol KILIC expresses his utmost concern about the decision made by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against His Excellency Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir, President of the Republic of the Sudan, as well as its repercussions on the security and peace of the country.

           H.E. Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC) , Prof. Mahmud Erol KILIC expresses his utmost concern about the decision made by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against His Excellency Omar Hassan Ahmed Al Bashir, President of the Republic of the Sudan, as well as its repercussions on the security and peace of the country.

          H.E. the PUIC Secretary General refers to resolution No. 12/11-CNCL adopted by the  Eleventh Session of the PUIC Council, held in Niamey, Republic of Niger, on 18-19 February 2009, on the Allegations of the International Criminal Court against the Sudan, which , “ invites member parliaments and all parliaments of OIC member sates to request their respective governments to maintain solidarity with the Sudan in defence of its sovereignty , security and stability in the face of the hostile stance of  the ICC, and its Prosecutor-General as well as the forces instigating him ”.
