1. The Standing  Specialized Committee on Economic and Environment Affairs held its 2nd Meeting in Tehran – Islamic Republic of Iran from 15 -16 Rabi ul Thani, 1435H (15 – 16 February, 2014), under the chairmanship of the Committee Rapporteur, H.E. Mrs. Souraya Mostapha Mohamed, Representative of the National Assembly of Chad.

The meeting was attended by a number of delegations as observers.

3. Ambassador Mr. Mohammadi Sijani, PUIC Assistant Secretary General, represented the General Secretariat.  He welcomed the Members of the Committee on behalf of the Secretary General.

4. The Meeting reviewed the agenda and discussed its 10 draft resolutions. The discussion included interventions by the Members which finally resulted in the adoption of the following resolutions which are submitted to the august PUIC Conference.
