PNC Supports Accession to International Organizations

Speaker of the Palestine National Council (PNC) Mr. Salim Al-Zanoon, stated that the Council stressed its full support to the decision of the Palestinian leaders and the signing by President Mahmoud Abbas, President of the State of Palestine concerning the immediate accession to (15) international organizations, agreements and treaties.
The PNC welcomed this unanimous decision following the Israeli intransigence and reneging on releasing the fourth batch of detainees as agreed before. The PNC reiterated its rejection of the policy of blackmail and pressure which targets the Palestinian leaders in order to accept proposals which do not answer Palestinian right. The PNC also stressed that this decision materializes Palestinian national right to regain the rights of the Palestinian people after Palestine has joined the UN as an Observer.
The PNC affirmed the necessity of expediting the efforts in order to achieve Palestinian reconciliation and put an end to schism.
