FIRST WORKING SESSION (CLOSED):
10:30 – 11:30

1.    Adoption of the Draft Agenda.

2.    Discussion of Items of the Agenda, namely:

2.1    PUIC Reform:

a.    Consideration of the Report of the Reform Committee.

b.    Consideration of the Report of the PUIC Executive Committee on Amendments of the Statute which have been referred to it by the Sixth PUIC Conference, held in Kampala, in January 2010.

2.2    International and regional challenges which confront the advancement and security of our Islamic World in the framework of the new developments of the peace process; preservation of Al-Quds Al-Sharif; the peaceful usage of nuclear energy in the states of the Islamic World; and dialogue and cooperation with the parliaments of Western States, primarily the US Congress in the light of the position of US President Obama Administration regarding cooperation with the Islamic World.

2.3    Role of the PUIC in Strengthening protection of the Christians of the East and Ensuring their Civil and Political Rights (Proposed by House of Representatives of Lebanon).

2.4    PUIC Role in Confronting the Project of Jewishness of the Zionist Entity and the City of Al-Quds (Proposed by House of Representatives of Lebanon).

2.5    Peace Process in Sudan (proposed by National Assembly of Sudan).

Note: Items (3-6) of the agenda of the Extraordinary Conference shall be addressed through the Speeches of Speakers and head of participating delegations.

SECOND WORKING SESSION:

11:30- 14:00

-    Speeches delivered by their Excellencies Parliament Speakers, (according to English alphabetical order), head of delegations and  Observers.

CLOSING SESSION:

17:30     Adoption of the Final Declaration of the Second Extraordinary Conference (in camera).

18:15    Reading the Final Declaration in presence of the media.

19:00    closing of the proceedings of the Second Extraordinary Conference by recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
