PUIC Secretary General Condemns the Dastardly Attack in North-East Nigeria

On September 1, 2024, the city of Yobe in northeastern Nigeria suffered a horrific terrorist attack, which was attributed to Boko Haram. The attack claimed the lives of 37 people and left many others injured and missing.

H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States, strongly condemns these terrorist acts and reiterates solidarity with Nigeria and its people in their fight against terrorism.

His Excellency extends his condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims and asks Allah Almighty to have mercy on the departed, expedite the recovery of the injured, and for the recovery of the missing persons.

H.E also asserts the condemnation of all types of terrorism and the need to stand against it.
