Secretary General Strongly Condemns Terrorist Explosions in Kerman, Iran

Kerman Province, in South Eastern Iran, witnessed on Wednesday 3 /01/2024, two terrorist explosions which resulted in the death of more than 100 persons and the injury of much more others. The two blasts took place near a cemetery crowded with visitors at that time.

H.E. the PUIC Secretary General, Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, expressed strong condemnation for this criminal cowardly action which targeted crowds of innocent Iranian citizens who came to perform a religious duty.

The Secretary General offered his sincere condolences to the Islamic Republic of Iran, praying to Almighty Allah to shower the martyrs with His wide mercy, expedite the recovery of the injured and preserve Iran and its people from all evil.

His Excellency affirmed his solidarity with Iran in combating terrorism and defending the sovereignty and glory of the country, and its firm stand and support of the just Islamic causes, primarily the cause of Palestine.

His Excellency stated that all PUIC Conferences unanimously agreed on condemning terrorism, in all its forms, and the necessity of the cooperation of the PUIC States to eliminate this phenomenon in the Islamic space.
