One of the blasts targeted a celebration of the prophet Mohammed’s (PBUH) birthday, whereas the other targeted worshippers performing Friday Prayers.

The PUIC Secretary General strongly condemns such terrorist actions which targeted a congregation of people who love the prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and were commemorating the anniversary of his birthday, as well as a group of worshippers performing Friday prayers in a house of God.

His Excellency prayed to Almighty Allah to shower the dead with his mercy and expedite the recovery of the wounded.

The Pakistani government regarded the blasts as acts of terrorism and announced that it will spare no efforts in eliminating terrorism.
