In a message addressed to H.E. Mr. Akila Salih Issa , Speaker of the House of Representatives of Libya, the Secretary General offered to him, and through him to the Libyan Parliament, leadership and people offered heartfelt condolences and sincere consolation, praying to Almighty Allah to shower the deceased with His mercy, expedite recovery of the injured and grant all patience and solace and protect Libya and its people from all misfortune.
His Excellency confirmed standing on the side of Libya during this predicament.
