Secretary General Calls for Supporting Relief Efforts

Chad and Cameroun are experiencing, these days, strong floods that led to the displacement of more than one million people in Chad, as well as huge material losses in the common borders between the two countries, and also in the Chadian Capital, Ndjamena. The authorities have declared a state of emergency because of the continuous heavy rains which may result in further damages.

His Excellency the PUIC Secretary General Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass expresses his solidarity and consolation with Chad and Cameroun, and calls for supporting relief efforts carried out by the authorities in both neighboring countries.
