The city of Al-Quds experienced, on Sunday 29 May, 2022, a grave escalation perpetrated by Jewish extremists and settlers, when thousands of them stormed the blessed Al- Aqsa Mosque, and attacked the Maghdesi citizens, and performed Talmoudic rituals and rites in the context of what they called “The Flags March”- A provocative and racist action with no connection to their religion- in the occupied Al – Quds City.

This event took place simultaneously with provocative actions carried out by settler extremists at Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood which is witnessing for some time attempts to evict the Palestinian legitimate owners from their homes.

All this happened under the protection of the Zionist occupation authorities which carried out campaigns of repression against Palestinian youths who came out in anger to defend the inviolability of Al – Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian families who were harassed by extremist Zionists.

In the face of such serious escalation, H.E. the PUIC Secretary General Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, condemns, in the strongest terms, these provocative actions carried out by the Zionists, and affirms solidarity with the combatant Palestinian people as well as arouses the determination of the sons of the Islamic Nation to make a brave stand to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque, First Qibla and Third of the Holy Harams, which is being desecrated by the occupying Zionists.
