In his message addressed on this occasion the Secretary General stated that he felicitates Mr. Sabbagh on the trust granted by the deputies of the Council to him.
The Secretary General expressed his readiness for further contact and cooperation, and prayed to Almighty God to grant success to Mr. Sabbagh and the Council, as well as to realize advancement and prosperity to the Syrian People.
