PUIC Secretary General Renews Solidarity with the Palestinian People

On the Anniversary of the Ill-omned Balfour Declaration: the PUIC Secretary General Renews Solidarity with the Heroic Palestinian People

On the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi NIASS, PUIC Secretary General, reiterated the Union's position on the Palestinian cause considered as the first Muslim issue and that the duty to defend Palestine and Al-Quds is the responsibility of all Muslims and Arabs.

The Secretary General affirmed that the grave circumstances in which the Palestinian issue is currently undergoing, by trying to liquidate it through the deal of the century, and exposing the Palestinian people to the most cruel violations and the most grave injustices, is only paralleled with the circumstances in the application of the Zionist plan to implement the ill-omned Balfour Declaration and the partition of Palestine and the establishment of the Occupation State.

This sinful promise on 2 November 1917 was a direct cause of all the tragedies and ongoing crimes against the Palestinian people who have been fighting injustice and aggression since then.

Appreciating the sacrifices of the heroic Palestinian people, the PUIC Secretary General stresses the necessity of unity and cohesion among the Palestinian People until the Nation’s dream of establishing the State of Palestine, with Al-Quds as its capital, within 1967 borders, is realized.
