          Members of the Tunisian House of Deputies called on the international community, particularly The Quartet, to intervene immediately in order to lift the siege imposed by Israel on Gaza Strip and to implement the resolutions of the international legitimacy as well as the Arab Initiative.
          In a statement issued on the occasion of the World Solidarity Day with the Palestinian People , on 25th November 2008, the Tunisian Deputies requested all parties concerned to exert utmost efforts to prompt Israel to resume the peace process for achieving a just , comprehensive and durable settlement of the Palestinian issue.
          The Tunisian Deputies also urged national Parliaments, and regional and international Parliamentary institutions, to provide the material support which has been pledged by the international community at the Paris Conference in favour of the Palestinian people.
