Detained Palestinian MPs Face Death

Head of the International Campaign for Releasing the Abducted Palestinian Members of Parliament (MPs), Mr. Mosheer Al-Masri stated that a number of those MPs, who are on hunger strike, are facing the peril of slow death as a result of medical negligence and the repressive measures which the Israeli occupation authorities impose on them. Mr. AL-Masri mentioned in his statement that these authorities beat the detainees in order to force them to give up their hunger strike. He demanded the exercise of real pressure on the occupation authorities in order to halt the illegal administrative detention and immediately release the detained MP’s.
