PUIC President Condemns Aggression in New Zealand

Following the terrorist aggression which, on Friday 15th March, 2019, targeted Muslims who were performing prayers at two mosques, in Christchurch, New Zealand, Mr. Habib El Malki, President of the PUIC expressed strong denunciation of this savage terrorist act.

In his own name and on behalf of parliamentarians in the Islamic world, Mr. El Malki offered his heartfelt condolences and genuine consolations to the families of the victims and the entire people of New Zealand, praying to God to shower His mercy on the dead and grant them paradise.

The PUIC President affirmed that this abominable terrorist act necessitates the international community to double efforts in order to combat terrorism and extremism, and renounce violence irrespective of their source or supporter.
