H.E. Ahmed Ben Mohammad Al- Eissaie, Chairman of  the Shoura Council of  Sultanate Oman, President of  the AIPU, sent a message to H.E. Dr. Ali Larijani Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran - Chairman of  the PUIC Council in connection with  the 25 members of the Palestinian Legislative Council who were elected democratically and were arrested by the Israeli Armed  Forces in 2006. The message described the arrest  as flagrant violation of  the Human Rights Declaration and the U.N Charter and aiming at paralyzing the Palestinian Constitutional Institutions and the building of the Palestinian Independent State .
H.E. Al-Eissaie, expressed his assurances that H.E. Dr. Larijani will support the world Campaign demanding the immediate release of the Palestinian Parliamentarians.
