On the Invitation of H.E. Mr Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi, Speaker of the Parliament of Uganda the PUIC delegation headed by H.E. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Erol Kilic visited to Uganda to discuss the holding of the 6th Session of the PUIC Conference and other related meetings.

The Ugandan Speaker welcomed the idea of hosting the 6th Session of the PUIC Conference in Kampala and said it is an honour for Uganda to host the Conference at the end of January 2010 and will put all his parliaments’ efforts to make the conference a success.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between H.E. Mr. A.M. Tandekwire Clerk of the Parliament of Uganda and the PUIC Secretary General on the Administrative and Technical Arrangements of the 6th Session of the PUIC Conference.
The Secretary General also met with H.E. Ambassador Ahmed Ssenyomo, Director General for Regional Cooperation at the Ugandan Foreign Ministry who assured the Secretary General that the Foreign Ministry of Uganda would do the utmost to make the Conference a success.
