Zaanoon Welcomes Release of Palestinian Detainees

H.E. Salim Al-Zaanoon, Speaker of the Palestine National Council, welcomed release of the first batch of freed detainees who have been released recently from the prisons of the Israeli occupation after long years of unjust incarceration.
Mr. Al-Zaanoon considered this step as a prelude for the release of all detainees despite Israel’s desperate attempts to confiscate their freedom.
Mr. Al-Zaanoon expressed felicitation to the valiant Palestinian people and families of the detainees who have long waited for such an occasion which brought joy to hearts and rekindled hopes in thousands of detainees and their families that the moment of their release is imminent and that the dawn of freedom in inevitably coming together with the realization of the objectives of the Palestinian people in liberty, independence, return and the establishment of their independent state with Al-Quds as its capital.
