Thirteenth Session of the Afro-Arab Conference

H.E. the PUIC Secretary General Professor Mahmud Erol KILIC delegated H.E. Ambassador Siddiq Yousif Abu Agla, Director of the Cabinet, to participate in the proceedings of the 13th Session of the Afro-Arab Parliamentary Conference, which was held in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, on 26-27 June 2013.

The Conference discussed two pivots: firstly, Promoting Afro-Arab cooperation in order to support the economies of African and Arab States; Secondly, role of parliaments in ensuring respect for religions and holy places as well as protecting the national cultures of African and Arab peoples in the face of globalization.

Alongside participating in the proceedings of the Conference, Ambassador Abu Agla met with His Excellency the President of the House of Councilors of Morocco, and a number of participating delegations, and discussed issues of common concern.
