The PUIC Secretary General expressed his utmost concern about the reports on the powerful earthquake which has struck the eastern parts of the Republic of Turkey. This came in a message of condolences and consolation sent by the Secretary General to H.E. the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mr. Cemil Cicek.
The Secretary General conveyed also to the government and people of Turkey his most heartfelt condolences for the victims of the tragedy and consolation for the bereaved families. The Secretary General wished a speedy recovery to the injured people.
