The Islamic Parliamentary Group will hold its annual consultation meeting on the sidelines of the 125th Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in Bern-Switzerland on Sunday 16th October 2011 at 13:30 to 15:00 in the Congress Center of Bernexpo.
The Agenda of the Consultative meeting includes a number of important items, namely: “Adopting a unified position regarding issues of common concern for the Islamic Group” submitted to the IPU meeting. Also “Promoting and practicing good governance as a means of advancing peace and security: Drawing lessons from recent events in the Middle East and North Africa”. (Proposed by IPU)
