The Palestine National council (PNC) issued a statement after its meeting in Amman which was devoted to discussing the impacts and ramifications of the Israeli aggression on the liberty and assistance maritime convoy which was heading towards Gaza Strip.

The Statement said that the response to this aggression should be , at the Palestinian level, putting an immediate end to the state of schism and establishing a genuine and sincere unity between the two parts of the homeland in Gaza and the West Bank; at the Arab- Islamic level, by adopting courageous positions that put an end to the political and economic Israeli infiltration in Arab and Muslim countries; at the international level by forcing Israel to abide by the international resolutions adopted by the UN General Assembly and Security Council as well as all international organizations which compel Israel to respect the Fourth Geneva Convention.
