President of the People’s Assembly of Egypt, Dr. Ahmed Fathi Sorour, appealed to the Security Council, the International Council on Human Rights, the International Criminal Court and all the International organizations to exercise their duties according to the International Humanitarian Law.
His Excellency said in a statement that the international Community is facing a critical test vis-à-vis Israel’s crime, and unless it acts in compliance with international legitimacy, the alleged universality of human rights is deemed mere slogans without substance.
He went on to stress that Israel is adding a new crime which is a blow to the international community that has failed so far to take effective action against the state criminality which is advocated by Israel.
