At 11 am on Sunday, March 28, 2010, the Consultative Meeting of the  Islamic Group held its meeting on the sidelines of the 122th Session of the Inter-Parliamentary Union in the capital of Thailand- Bangkok, where the meeting was chaired by His Excellency Mr. Abdul Aziz Abdullah Al Ghurair, Speaker  of the Federal National Council of the  United Arab Emirates , and Chairman of the 13th Council of the Parliamentary Union of the Member States of the Organization of Islamic Conference. The meeting was attended by the Speakers  of : Algeria, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan and  delegations of : Oman, Syria, Turkey, Iran , Yemen, Morocco, Uganda, Cameroon, Egypt, Malaysia, Pakistan and Sudan.
The meeting was attended by H.E. Prof.Mahmoud Erol  KILIC,  the Secretary General of the PUIC, H.E. Ambassador  Ali Asghar Mohammadi, Assistant Secretary General.
During the meeting a number of topics before the 122th Session of the  IPU and the third meeting of the Speakers of the Members Parliaments in the IPU  as well as the  study of  how to coordinate the positions of the  Member Parliaments  in their activities, which serve the issues of the Islamic nation, were discussed.
