H.E. emphasised solidarity with Iran in this tragic event, and expressed his strong condemnation of the U.S and Israeli military attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Moreover, he stressed the necessity to respect the sovereignty of all States of PUIC Member Parliaments, including those who are part of the GCC. H.E. further emphasised his complete rejection of the targeting of these Islamic countries under any pretext and by any party, and expressed his support for them.

His Excellency the Secretary General also expressed his deep concern over the continuation of this war, which poses a real threat to security and stability in the world, and called for its immediate cessation, in order to preserve international peace and security.
