PUIC Secretary General Strongly Condemns Terrorist Bombing at Mosque in Islamabad

The Secretary General of the PUIC, His Excellency Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place on 6 February 2026 at a mosque in the Tarlay Khan region, south of the capital Islamabad, in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. As a result of this suicide bombing, dozens of people were killed and wounded.

While offering his sincere condolences to the State of Pakistan and the families of the victims, His Excellency the Secretary General prays to Almighty Allah to shower the deceased with His mercy, expedite the recovery of the wounded, and protect Pakistan from all harm.
His Excellency also reiterates what has been emphasized by all PUIC Conferences, namely the condemnation of terrorism in all its forms, especially the targeting of houses of worship and the killing of worshippers.
