PUIC Secretary General Urges Implementation of New UN Resolution Allowing Unrestricted Humanitarian Aid to the Besieged Gaza Strip

On Friday, December 12, 2025, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution obligating the Zionist enemy to ensure delivery of food, water, medical supplies and shelter to the population of the besieged Gaza Strip, and to cease any actions that hinder humanitarian assistance. Backed by 139 member states, the resolution reiterates the United Nations’ responsibility toward the Palestinian Cause until a comprehensive solution is achieved.

His Excellency Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States (PUIC), emphasized the urgent need to implement this resolution, along with all other UN resolutions related to Palestine; thereby bringing justice to the resilient Palestinian people and realizing their right to establish their independent State, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.

The Secretary-General further called on the international community to fully shoulder its responsibility in ensuring the protection of the Palestinian people against the brutality of occupation forces and settler gangs.
