The Israeli Occupation Continues its Criminality in “Kamal Adwan” and Displaces Residents of Al-Bureij and Al-Shuja’iyya

Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip witnessed successive Israeli crimes that ended with the occupation forces ordering its evacuation after cutting off electricity, placing explosive robots near it, and blowing up residential buildings in its vicinity. At the same time, the hospital was exposed to Israeli fire between December 17-18, 2024, which also witnessed the targeting of Al-Awda Hospital.

The number of Palestinians murdered in the Gaza Strip over the mentioned period reached (289), while the number of injured reached (777), and the number of massacres reached (25). The OIC Media Observatory on Israeli crimes against the Palestinians documented (45912) Palestinians murdered from October 7, 2023, until December 18, 2024, while the number of injured reached (113494).

The Israeli occupation forces continued to bomb most areas of the Gaza Strip, and according to monitoring over the past seven days, they included residential apartments in central Gaza and Rafah, in addition to places in the Nuseirat camp, Jabalia, and Deir al-Balah. They besieged a camp for displaced persons in Nuseirat, and issued orders to evacuate four areas in al-Bureij, and ordered the residents of the Shuja’iyya neighborhood to move to areas near Gaza City.

In documenting the Israeli confessions, the Israeli newspaper Haaretz revealed testimonies of occupation soldiers who committed war crimes in Gaza, by murdering civilians. The Hebrew media also acknowledged that the occupation forces destroyed more than 70% of the buildings in Jabalia camp.

On the humanitarian level, UNICEF confirmed that most areas in the northern Gaza Strip are suffering from food scarcity due to the complete Israeli closure for 78 days. It also confirmed that 14,500 children were murdered by the occupation forces’ fire over the past 14 months. Last week, a child died in Al-Mawasi due to the severe cold, and UNICEF warned of the effects of the catastrophic conditions of cold, hunger, and disease on the children of Gaza.

In terms of Israeli crimes in the West Bank and occupied al-Quds, the OIC Observatory recorded (12) Palestinians murdered during the period 17-18 December 2024, while the occupation forces arrested (124) others during that period, and the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque was subjected to daily raids. The occupation forces demolished 5 houses and part of a house in the occupied city of al-Quds, demolished 4 houses in Bethlehem, Tubas and Hebron, occupied a house in Jenin, bombed Tulkarm camp with aircraft, and demolished two shops selling vegetables in Hebron, and 3 barns in Salfit, and agricultural greenhouses and a water collection pool in the villages of Tulkarm, while settlers burned an agricultural room in Salfit.

In the same context, the number of settler attacks on Palestinian villages in the West Bank reached about (31) attacks, where they set fire to the Ber al-Walidain Mosque in the village of Marda in Salfit, and wrote insulting phrases against Islam and threats against the villagers, while others stole sheep feed and demolished the fences of agricultural lands, and other groups of settlers uprooted olive tree seedlings in several villages in the West Bank.

The number of settlement activities over the past seven days reached (6) activities, represented by settlers plowing agricultural lands in the northern Jordan Valley in Tubas, while the occupation forces bulldozed hundreds of dunams in the villages of Iskaka and Yasuf to expand the “Neve Nehemia” settlement, and bulldozed other lands along the road leading to the “Ariel” settlement in the village of al-Sawiya in Nablus. Settlers paved a settlement road in the Wadi al-Shouk area in Ramallah, while others attempted to establish a new settlement outpost in the southeastern part of the Arab al-Malihat community in Jericho. Settlers in the village of Bardala in Tubas attempted to establish a cowshed in preparation for establishing a settlement outpost. Finally, the number of Israeli crimes over the course of a week reached (2004) crimes in various Palestinian areas.
