PUIC Secretary General Welcomes the ICC

On Thursday, 21 November 2024, the International Criminal Court (ICC) issued two arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Galant for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip.

The court said that they directed attacks against the civilian population, used starvation as a weapon of war, and committed murder, persecution and other acts of inhumanity.

H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, Secretary General of the PUIC, welcomes the ruling of the ICC, considers it a step in the right direction to put an end to the impunity of Zionist officials and to hold them accountable for their heinous crimes against humanity, and also a step towards restoring the values of justice and protecting human rights.

His Excellency also praises the international community's positive reception of the ICC's decision and the willingness of many countries to implement it.

This ruling comes at a time when the Zionist entity continues its war of aggression against the people of Gaza, committing an unprecedented genocide in human history, which has so far resulted in the martyrdom of more than 44.000 people and the wounding of more than 105.000, the majority of whom are women and children.
