In his message to H.E. Mr. Mohammed Al Halbousi, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Iraq, the Secretary General offered sincere condolences and consolation, praying to Almighty God to shower the dead with His mercy and grant solace and patience to the families of the victims.
He also prayed to Allah to protect Iraq and all Muslim countries from all misfortune and harm.
