Med. Parliamentary Assembly Expresses Concern About Israeli Aggression

The Mediterranean Parliamentary Assembly expressed sharing concern voiced by the UN Secretary General, and international and regional organizations as well as religious leaders about continuation of the violence of the Israeli occupation in East Al Quds, together with the possible eviction f Palestinian families from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah and Salwan neighborhoods.

The Assembly of (33) Parliaments of states on the Mediterranean Sea, including Palestine, Called Tuesday, in its statement, for total abidance by the UN Security Council, the International Humanitarian Law and the Human Rights Law.

The Napoli- based Assembly, in Italy, reiterated its stance that the two-state solution is the only way for the two people to achieve their legitimate aspirations to rule themselves and live side by side within secure and recognized borders, in peace and security, the state of Israel and the Independent state of Palestine according to the relevant international resolutions.

The Assembly renewed its real commitment to continue action through its parliamentary diplomatic network, in cooperation with the international community to support all initiatives aimed at enhancing the rule of law and finding an immediate political solution to the current situation.
