His Excellency the Speaker of the National Assembly of the State of Kuwait Mr. Marzouq Al-Ghanim received in his office the PUIC delegation, headed by H.E. Prof. Mahmud Erol KILIC, PUIC Secretary General.

The two sides discussed during the meeting extending support to the initiatives aimed at enhancing cooperation and solidarity among Muslim states as well as acting to unify positions at international Parliamentary fora in such a way as to serve the interests of these states. On the other hand the PUIC delegation offered condolences on the passing away of the former Speaker of the National Assembly of Kuwait Mr. Jassem al-Khorafi. The PUIC had already sent a message of condolences to H.E. Mr. al-Ghanim.
