Secretary General Felicitates Kyrgyz Parliament

The Secretary General of the PUIC, H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, expressed his sincere felicitations to H.E. PUIC General Secretariat Participates in 16th Plenary Session of the APA

As part of its commitment to strengthening multilateral parliamentary cooperation, and in support of efforts aimed at unifying stances on regional and international issues of shared interest, the General Secretariat of the PUIC participated, in its capacity as an observer, in the 16th Plenary Session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, held in Manama, Kingdom of Bahrain, from 24 to 28 January 2026. This participation took place pursuant to an invitation extended by H.E. Mr. Ahmed Bin Salman Almusalam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Parliamentary Division of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

PUIC Secretary General Congratulates Côte d'Ivoire on the Presidential and Legislative Elections Results

Following the legislative elections held on 27 December 2025, the ruling party in Côte d'Ivoire won 197 out of 225 seats in the Parliament. This follows the landslide victory of the President of the Republic, His Excellency Mr. Alassane Ouattara, who was voted for a new term in the elections held in Côte d'Ivoire.

The Secretary General of the PUIC, H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, expressed his condemnation of the Israeli entity's recognition of the "Somaliland" region as an independent State.

PUIC Secretary General Condemns Terrorist Attack on Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib Mosque in Homs

The Secretary General of the PUIC, His Excellency Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted the Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib Mosque in the city of Homs, Syrian Arab Republic, during Friday prayers on 26 December 2025. The attack resulted in a number of casualties, including several fatalities and injuries.
