The Media Observatory of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC): The Israeli Occupation Violates the Sanctity of Ramadan with Massacres, Attacks on Mosques, and Bans on Prayers

The period between March 11 and 17, 2025, just one day before the Israeli occupation forces ended the ceasefire agreement, witnessed violations that paved the way for Israel’s reversal of the agreement. On Thursday, 13 March 2025, a border demarcation agreement between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan was signed in the capital of Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek), ending a 100-year-old border dispute, by H.E. Mr. Emomali Rahmon, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, and H.E. Mr. Sadyr Japarov, President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The Media Observatory of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC): Increased Occupation Crimes against Al-Aqsa, Restricting Access to Al-Ibrahimi and Burning a Mosque, during Holy Month of Ramadan

The Israeli occupation forces have increased their attacks on mosques in the West Bank, in a clear violation of the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan. In the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, the occupation forces confiscated loudspeakers from the Qibli prayer hall. Throughout the past week, the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque has been subjected to incursions by Israeli extremists, with the total number of intruders reaching 9017 in February 2025. During the period documented by the OIC Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes against the Palestinians between March 4-10, 2025, the number of violations against the mosque reached 8, a significant increase compared to previous periods.

The Media Observatory of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC): 695 Martyrs Recorded in Gaza and in the West Bank during the Past Seven Days

The Media Observatory of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for Israeli Crimes against the Palestinians recorded the killing of 695 Palestinian, during the period from February 4 to 10, 2025, 18 of whom were murdered in the Gaza Strip by the fire of the occupation forces, and 5 were murdered in the West Bank as a result of the continuous Israeli bombing on Palestinian camps. In addition to the recovery of 99 bodies from under the rubble in the Gaza Strip, and the documentation of the killing of 572 others during the Israeli aggression on the Strip before the ceasefire was announced. The OIC Observatory also documented a total of 49,119 Palestinians murdered and 118,371 wounded from October 7, 2023, to February 10, 2025.

AIPU Condemns Occupation's Escalation and Warns of its Serious Repercussions

Mr Brahim Boughali, President of the Arab Interparliamentary Union and Speaker of the People's National Assembly of Algeria, wrote to the presidents of national, regional and international parliaments, strongly condemning the Zionist occupation's decision to ban the activities of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), noting that this decision constitutes a dangerous escalation aimed at systematically liquidating the Palestinian cause through eliminating the refugee file and cancelling the right of return.
