AIPU Welcomes General Assembly Resolution Supporting New York Declaration on the Two-State Solution

The President of the Arab Interparliamentary Union and Speaker of the People's National Assembly of Algeria, H.E. Mr Brahim Boughali, issued on 13 September 2025 a statement welcoming the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of a resolution endorsing the New York Declaration on the implementation of the two-state solution and the establishment of an independent Palestinian State.

Arab IPU Calls for Urgent Action to End Starvation in Gaza

In a statement issued on 24 August 2025 by H.E. Mr. Ibrahim Boughali, President of the Arab Interparliamentary Union (AIPU) and Speaker of the People’s National Assembly of Algeria, the AIPU expressed its deep concern over Gaza’s official entry into a state of starvation, as defined by the United Nations standards, warning of the catastrophic humanitarian consequences resulting from the continued blockade imposed on the Palestinian people.
