PUIC Secretary General Condemns Attacks on Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

In recent days, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been subjected to attacks that have resulted in casualties and property damage. Accordingly, the Secretary General of the PUIC, H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, strongly condemns these attacks, which constitute a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and a serious breach of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

PUIC Secretary General Offers Condolences Following Sinking of Passenger Ferry in Kyrenia

On 30 August 2026, a tragic maritime accident took place off the coast of Kyrenia when a high-speed passenger ferry bound for the port of Tasucu in southern Türkiye, carrying 267 people on board, sank. The incident has been described as the worst maritime disaster in the history of the region.

PUIC Secretary General Calls for Protection of the Defenceless Palestinian People from Settler and Occupation Forces Crimes

Terrorist acts and heinous crimes committed by Zionist settlers and the occupation forces against the Palestinian people have been on the rise in recent days, particularly in the cities of Nablus, Ramallah, Al-Bireh, as well as in Gaza, resulting in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of Palestinians. The Secretary General of the PUIC, His Excellency Mr Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, expressed his strong condemnation in response to the announcements made by Colombia and Slovenia regarding their preparations to relocate their embassies in the Zionist entity to occupied Al-Quds , a move that constitutes a flagrant violation of UN resolutions, particularly UNSC Res. 476, 478 and 2334, which affirm that any Israeli measures aimed at altering the character, legal status or demographic composition of the city of Al-Quds are null and void, and call upon States to withdraw their diplomatic missions from occupied Al-Quds.
