OIC Media Observatory Report: After Gaza, Israeli Aggression Intensifies in the West Bank
The Media Observatory of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) for Israeli Crimes against the Palestinians recorded, between January 21-27, 2025, the recovery of 264 bodies of Palestinians murdered in the Gaza Strip. During this period, 37 Palestinians were murdered by bullets and shells of the occupation forces in Gaza, the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds. More than 492 Palestinians were wounded in various Palestinian areas. As of January 23, 2025, the total number of Palestinian murdered since October 7, 2023, had risen to 48,156, while the number of wounded reached 118,172.

PUIC Secretary General Strongly Condemns the European Parliament's Interference in Algeria's Internal Affairs
On Thursday, 23 January 2025, the European Parliament passed a resolution pertaining to the internal affairs of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria. The Secretary General of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States, H.E. Mr Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, expresses his strong condemnation of this resolution, which is regarded as a blatant and unacceptable interference in the internal affairs of Algeria.

OIC Media Observatory Report: In the week leading up to the ceasefire, Israel has significantly escalated its military actions;
In the final hours preceding the ceasefire agreement, violent escalations marked the conflict, particularly in the Gaza Strip, where Israeli occupation forces killed 60 Palestinians along with two in the West Bank and injured 348 others. The OIC Media Observatory documented a staggering toll from January 14 to 20, 2025, with 466 martyrs and 1,470 injuries noted, alongside the recovery of 62 bodies. The cumulative death toll since October 7, 2023, reached 47,896, with a wounded count of 117,791.

OIC Media Observatory Report: 69,017 Israeli Extremists Stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound Since October 7
The period between December 31, 2024, and January 6, 2025, witnessed bloody events in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and occupied Al-Quds, while the beginning of the new year represented a continuation of the Israeli aggression, the intensity of which was no less than in previous years. This was represented in ongoing genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip, where the OIC Media Observatory on Israeli Crimes against Palestinians documented the martyrdom of 320 Palestinians during that period, and the wounding of 840 others, while the occupation forces arrested 143 Palestinians in the cities of the West Bank and occupied Al-Quds. The number of Palestinian martyrs since October 7, 2023, until January 6, 2025, amounted to more than 46,692 martyrs, while the number of the wounded during the same period of time reached 115,839. The total Israeli crimes during the past week reached 2,166 crimes distributed across the Gaza Strip, the West Bank, and occupied Al-Quds.

As this year marks the 76th anniversary of the United Nations resolution to resolve the Jammu and Kashmir dispute through a free and fair referendum, under the auspices of the United Nations, to determine the fate of the Kashmiri people,H.E. OIC Media Observatory Report: The Israeli Occupation Continues its Criminality in “Kamal Adwan” and Displaces Residents of Al-Bureij and Al-Shuja’iyya
Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip witnessed successive Israeli crimes that ended with the occupation forces ordering its evacuation after cutting off electricity, placing explosive robots near it, and blowing up residential buildings in its vicinity. At the same time, the hospital was exposed to Israeli fire between December 17-18, 2024, which also witnessed the targeting of Al-Awda Hospital.

PUIC Secretary General Welcomes UNGA Resolution Affirming Permanent Sovereignty of the Palestinian People in the OPT
The Secretary General of the PUIC, H.E. Mr. Mouhamed Khouraichi Niass, welcomed the UN General Assembly's resolution affirming the “permanent sovereignty of the Palestinian people in the Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT)”, which calls upon all countries and international organisations to actively work towards ensuring the full restoration of the Palestinian people's rights and the establishment of their independent state, with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
