It was agreed that the parliaments of these states shall submit a single request for inclusion as an emergency item on the agenda of the 138th IPU Assembly under the title ” The consequences of the US declaration on Jerusalem, and the rights of the Palestinian people in Jerusalem in the light of the UN Charter and resolutions.” This proposal has in fact got the biggest number of votes in the plenary session, and was selected as an emergency item on the agenda of the 138th IPU Assembly.
