Speaker of the Palestine National Council (PNC) Mr. Salim Al Zaanoon strongly deplored and condemned the criminal and repugnant aggression on Egyptian soldiers at Egypt’s Rafah city in northern Sinai last Sunday which resulted in the death of not less than 15 of them.
Mr. Zaanoon considered this attack as an aggression on the Egyptian national security and attrition of the potentials of sisterly Egypt as well as an attempt to sabotage the brotherly Egyptian Palestinian relations.
In a press statement released last Monday Mr. Zaanoon hailed the sacrifices and heroism of the Egyptian army in defense of Palestine and its people. He also highly appreciated Egypt’s role in serving the cause of Palestine.
