H.E. stressed that these statements constitute a clear violation of diplomatic norms and blatant bias in favour of the occupation. He also emphasised that attempts to legitimise the occupation and enforce a certain state of affairs on the ground cannot lead to peace, but rather deepen tensions and increase instability in the region.
In this context, he called for respect for international legitimacy, thus guaranteeing the rights of the Palestinian people and ensuring security and stability.
