In a statement issued on Friday, the PNC stressed that the struggle and resistance of our heroic people which extend over our historical land in Al Quds, the West Bank, Gaza, and inside of the territories occupied in 1948, confirm again their attachment to their single national identity which the occupation has failed to eliminate and confiscate despite the passage of 73 years since the Catastrophe (Nakbah).
The PNC also stated that the insistence of our people to strengthen its field unity, coherence and sacrifices must be supported by an immediate resolution on enhancing national unity, and implementing the resolutions of the National and Central Councils on occupation as well as signed agreements which must be relinquished and which have been torn by the military aircraft of the occupation.
The PNC stated furthermore: that at a time of requesting Parliaments of Arab and Islamic States to shoulder their responsibility, it appeals to Arab and Islamic peoples to continue their solidarity and backing of our people and their legitimate right to resist and struggle in defense of their existence on their land and the protection of their sanctities.
The PNC stressed that the failure of the United Nations and the silence of the big states as well as equalizing between the victim and the criminal executioner who commits war crimes in Gaza Strip and the other Palestinian cities have given the green light to the occupation to continue its aggression which has resulted, up to now, in 130 martyrs, including 30 children, 20 women and 1000 wounded Palestinians, mostly children and women. The PNC said that the stance of the USA and some other conniver states cannot be accepted, which consider the bombardment by the aircraft, artillery and gunboats of unarmed people, under occupation, as self-defense. In this way these states have relinquished their legal, moral and humanitarian obligation to protect the Palestinians who are the victims of a criminal occupier.
The PNC rejected demanding the people under occupation to stop defending themselves. It is necessary to chase and punish the occupier, put an end to its occupation, and for the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution under Chapter IIV to implement the UN resolutions, activate the tools and mechanisms of the International Humanitarian Law, prosecute leaders of occupation, including the prime minister of its government, before the International Criminal Court (ICC) for the crimes which they commit in cold blood.
The PNC confirmed the occupation state is perpetrating war crimes and crimes against humanity according to the Basic Rome System of the ICC, and violating the relevant provisions of the Fourth Geneva Convention. The PNC requests ensuring general protection of our people under occupation which is provided by the Fourth Geneva Convention and its protocol of 1977, as well as The Hague Agreement, and to implement the UN General Assembly Resolution of 2018 on Palestine.
