32 Meeting of PUIC Executive Committee Held in Rabat

The PUIC Executive Committee held its 32nd Meeting at the House of Counselors, in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco, on Tuesday 10th June 2014.
The Meeting, kindly hosted by the Moroccan Parliament, was attended by all the Executive Committee Members, except those representing the House of Representatives in Republic of Iraq, The Shura Assembly of Saudi Arabia and the National Assembly of Cameroun.
At the beginning of the session, both H.E. Speaker of the House of Representatives Mr. Rachid Talbi Alami, and H.E. Speaker of the House of Counselors of Morocco Dr. Mohammed Sheikh Biadillah, welcomed the attendees wishing them a happy stay in Rabat. They also praised the PUIC role in defending the Palestinian cause and the steadfast Palestinian People.
H.E. the PUIC Secretary General presented a summary of the report submitted to the meeting, which included, inter alia, the activities of the PUIC General Secretariat.
Then the Members discussed the 10-item agenda and adopted resolutions thereon.
The Meeting issued the Rabat Declaration which concentrated mainly on the Palestinian cause and the struggling Palestinian people in Al-Quds and the other occupied Palestinian territories.
In conclusion of the Meeting the members sent a cable of thanks and gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammad VI, King of Morocco, for his high and kind patronage of their meeting, as well as for the generous hospitality, warm reception good preparation for the Meeting.
