The PUIC's delegation included representatives from the General Secretariat of the PUIC, as well as deputies from a number of member parliaments, namely Azerbaijan, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Senegal, Tajikistan, and Türkiye.
The PUIC's participation in that Conference fell within the framework of its ongoing efforts to strengthen international parliamentary cooperation in combating terrorism and extremism, as well as asserting the role of parliaments in consolidating international security and peace.
