The PUIC Secretary General H.E. Prof. Mahmud Erol KILIC denounces the ratification of the Israeli Knesset of the so-called nationalism act which legitimizes racism in Israel on the pretext that it is the national home of the Jews, and that the right of self-determination is confined to the Israeli people, and that it preserves privileges for Jews only without other citizens.

H.E. the PUIC Secretary General requests national, regional and International Parliamentary Unions, especially the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU), to condemn this act and exercise pressure on the Knesset to stop its passage in view of its racism and its denial of the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination and their return to their land in accordance with the provisions of International resolutions and laws adopted by the United Nations as well as human rights organizations. Furthermore, the promulgation of this racist act will impede finding a just and durable solution to the Palestinian issue and enabling the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with Al-Quds as its Capital.
