H.E. the PUIC Secretary General, Prof. Dr. Mahmud Erol KILIC expressed condemnation of the failed military takeover which took place in the Republic of Turkey recently, underlining that it meant to threaten security and stability in the country.

In his messages addressed to H.E. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Honourable President of the Republic of Turkey, H.E. Mr. Binali Yildirim, Prime Minister, and H.E. Mr. Ismail Kahraman, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, the PUIC Secretary General emphasized the necessity of respecting democracy and that the role of the people in this respect is fundamental.
He expressed PUIC support to the efforts deployed by the Turkish Government and Assembly for sustaining security and peace in the country and prayed to Almighty God to preserve and protect Turkey from all evil and harm.
