His Excellency stressed that the war launched by Israel is a war of genocide, and that we are requested today to dot the (i’s) and cross the (t’s), and adopt definitive, quick and immediately implementable resolutions. He expressed the hope for the success of the Egyptian initiative in stopping the Israeli savage onslaught against Gaza Strip, lifting the unjust blockade and opening the crossings.
His Excellency  proposed supporting the Strip by providing medical and other necessities as well as urgently needed assistance; convening the Geneva Conference of Signatory States of the Geneva Conventions in order to oblige Israel to respect and apply the conventions on the Palestinian people and not to repeat the aggression. He also proposed extending Arab and Muslim support to the Palestinian government of national consensus in order to enhance Palestinian unity.
