National Assembly of Pakistan Condemns Ongoing Oppression and Atrocities by Israel in Palestine

The National Assembly of Pakistan condemned in the strongest terms the ongoing atrocities and oppression perpetrated by Israel in Palestine, and affirmed full solidarity with the Palestinian brothers.

This came in a resolution unanimously passed by the National Assembly of Pakistan during a session, in which the Parliament of Pakistan unanimously called for a ceasefire and the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation forces from the occupied Palestinian territories, including Gaza, in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council, and called on the international community to recognise the State of Palestine as a full member of the United Nations and take effective measures to grant it membership. It also urged the world to take immediate action to end Israel's tyranny and oppression and bring justice to the Palestinian people.

The Pakistani parliament also called on the UN Security Council to enforce its resolution for a ceasefire in Gaza to stop the genocide against the Palestinian people and hold Israel accountable for committing war crimes and crimes against humanity. It stated that the illegal actions of the Zionist state and its disregard for UN, UNSC, and OIC resolutions, and ICJ rulings, undermine world peace, constitute a dangerous escalation in an already tense region, and obstruct efforts for peace.
